KBHA Rocket Engines ensured “Soyuz” LV Launch

On March 29 two stages LV “Soyuz-2.1B” was successfully launched from Plesetsk launch site. It was the forth launch since the beginning of its operation.

Injection of the satellite for the benefit of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense into space orbit was provided by steering LOX-kerosene engine 14D24 of KBKhA development and VMP (Voronezh Mechanical Plant) production, operating within the first stage of the VL in liaison with sustainer engine NK-33, and Lox-kerosene LPRE 14D23 of KBKhA development and production on the level of the second stage of the launch vehicle.
